All Panellicense licenses bill on the 15th of every month, regardless of when you activated them. This page is the worked-example reference for what you actually pay in any given month.
The rule
You pay a prorated amount for the first partial month, then the full monthly rate from the 15th onward.
prorated_amount = (days_until_next_15th / 30) × monthly_price
Example 1 — new license
You activate a cPanel Pro license ($28.99/mo) on the 22nd of the month. There are 24 days until the next 15th.
prorated_amount = (24 / 30) × $28.99 = $23.19
Your card is charged $23.19 today. On the 15th of next month, you're charged the full $28.99, and every 15th after that.
Example 2 — upgrade mid-month
On the 5th, you upgrade from cPanel Pro ($28.99) to cPanel Premier ($45.99). There are 10 days left in the current billing cycle.
credit_for_old_tier = (10 / 30) × $28.99 = $9.66
charge_for_new_tier = (10 / 30) × $45.99 = $15.33
net_charged_today = $15.33 − $9.66 = $5.67
You pay $5.67 today; next month resumes at the full $45.99.
Example 3 — downgrade mid-month
Downgrades work the same way in reverse: the unused portion of the higher tier is credited to your account balance and applied against your next invoice. We don't refund downgrade credit to your card — only forward.
Example 4 — cancellation
Cancel any time. Your license stays active until the next 15th, then is decommissioned. We don't refund the unused portion of a cancelled month.
Currency conversion
If you invoice in EUR or GBP, the conversion rate is locked at the start of each billing cycle (the 15th). Mid-cycle currency moves don't change what you owe.
