Three vendors move their list prices inside the same three-week window this winter. cPanel goes first on 16 December 2026, WebPros' Plesk and WHMCS follow on 1 January 2027, and CloudLinux, Imunify360, and KernelCare change on 2 January 2027. None of it needs action to take effect: renewals after each date bill at the new rate.

This article collects the vendor list figures, shows what they do to real server bills, and lists the few decisions worth making before the dates land. All prices are USD per server per month, vendor retail list, before tax.

The dates

cPanel and WebPros have not yet published the 2027 figures on their public pricing pages; the numbers below come from the customer licensing guides and notices sent in October 2026, as reported consistently across several hosting trade sources. CloudLinux's figures come from its partner notice.

cPanel from 16 December 2026

TierAccounts2026From 16 DecChange
Solo1$29.99$32.99+10.0%
Adminup to 5$35.99$38.99+8.3%
Proup to 30$53.99$58.99+9.3%
Premierup to 100$69.99$76.99+10.0%
Each account above 100—$0.49$0.55+12.2%

The overage is the line that hurts dense servers. A dedicated node with 300 accounts goes from $167.99 to $186.99 a month (+11.3%), because 200 overage accounts at six cents more add $12 on top of the $7 Premier rise. If you are near a band edge, re-read how cPanel's account tiers count accounts: suspended accounts still count.

Plesk and WHMCS from 1 January 2027

Plesk drops the separate VPS and dedicated price for Web Host. From 1 January both pay the same, so VPS buyers take the biggest rise and dedicated buyers the smallest.

Edition2026 VPS2026 Dedicated2027 (both)
Web Admin (10 domains)$16.99$16.99$18.99
Web Pro (30 domains)$29.99$29.99$33.99
Web Host (unlimited)$62.99$69.99$73.99

That is +17.5% for Web Host on a VPS against +5.7% on dedicated. If you were already weighing the jump from Web Pro to Web Host, our edition comparison has the domain-count maths.

WHMCS rises on every tier. Plus (250 clients) goes from $34.95 to $39.99 (+14.4%), and the top tiers take the full 20%: Business Unlimited moves from $1,999.95 to $2,399.99. WHMCS still auto-upgrades you to the next tier when you cross a client limit, at the new price.

CloudLinux, Imunify360, and KernelCare from 2 January 2027

CloudLinux applies roughly 6% across CloudLinux OS (including Legacy), Imunify360, and KernelCare. On the cPanel Store, Imunify360 moves from $45.00 to $47.70 and KernelCare from $3.00 to $3.18.

Not affected, per CloudLinux's notice: ImunifyAV+, TuxCare ELS, the VPS Bundle, and AccelerateWP Premium. Imunify Email stays priced at 10% of the matching Imunify360 license, so it rises in step with it.

Worked bills

BuildBeforeAfterChange
Plesk Web Host (VPS) + WHMCS Plus$97.94$113.98+16.4%
cPanel Premier (100 accounts) + WHMCS Plus$104.94$116.98+11.5%
cPanel Premier, 300 accounts, dedicated$167.99$186.99+11.3%

The Plesk-plus-WHMCS build takes the largest percentage hit, because both lines are WebPros SKUs and both rise in January. For a full stack priced per server, the panel and billing lines move by double digits while the CloudLinux lines move by 6%.

What to do before the dates

  1. Audit for dead licenses. Every decommissioned server still billing costs ~10% more from December. Cancellations are prorated, so do it now.
  2. Fix your cPanel account count. Terminate abandoned accounts on servers just over 30 or 100 accounts; dropping a band saves more than the increase costs.
  3. Plesk VPS buyers on Web Host: check whether Web Pro's 30 domains still covers the server. The gap between them widens to $40 a month.
  4. Reprice your plans once, in January. The $7 Premier rise spread across 60 accounts on a node is about $0.12 per account per month. Pass it on, or don't, but decide with the number in front of you.
  5. WHMCS users: if the 20% top-tier rise is the trigger to leave, Blesta's owned license is a one-off cost, and the WHMCS-to-Blesta checklist covers the cutover.

Resellers, including Panellicense, buy at partner rates that move on the same vendor schedule. Current Panellicense pricing is always on the site, and fleet quotes go through sales.

When does the cPanel 2027 price increase take effect?+
16 December 2026, for new and existing cPanel Store licenses. Premier rises from $69.99 to $76.99 a month and each account above 100 from $0.49 to $0.55.
How much is Plesk going up in 2027?+
From 1 January 2027, Web Admin is $18.99, Web Pro $33.99, and Web Host $73.99 a month list. Web Host is now the same price on VPS and dedicated, so VPS buyers see +17.5% and dedicated +5.7%.
Are CloudLinux and Imunify360 prices increasing in 2027?+
Yes, by about 6% from 2 January 2027, covering CloudLinux OS, Imunify360, and KernelCare. ImunifyAV+, TuxCare ELS, the VPS Bundle, and AccelerateWP Premium are not part of the change.
Do I need to do anything for the new license prices to apply?+
No. Renewals after each effective date bill at the new rate automatically. The only actions worth taking are cutting unused licenses and fixing account counts before the dates.
Is it worth leaving cPanel or WHMCS over the 2027 increase?+
Rarely on price alone. A 10% cPanel rise is cents per account on a well-filled server; migration costs engineering weeks. WHMCS's top tiers at +20% are the strongest case for switching billing platforms.
